Kate

Kate moved into the community in July of 2022, after she retired from 40 years as a graphic designer. Now that she is retired, she has more time to take art classes. Recently she started taking classes at the Senior Center. The Senior Center offers a wide variety of art classes with excellent teachers and very affordable prices.

While living in LA, Kate tried several different craft ideas to sell at fairs. Below is a sample of candles, bath bombs and several different types of soap. Although she found them fun to make they were a bit difficult to haul around, eventually she settled for making and selling jewelry.
