Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our community through various education and art projects that foster connection to enhance creativity and mental health of our members. Our projects strengthen community bonds and lead the way for us to give back to the larger community. On an individual basis, members volunteer in many different outreach programs. We have a solid history of volunteerism, starting with coming together to spruce up our property.
Although Valley Hi Condos (VHC ) was not created as an intentional community but it has many of the benefits without some of the drawbacks of an intentional community. We help each other out in different ways: a ride to the airport; someone without a car can always find a neighbor to take them shopping or complete errands; we go out for lunch together; walk our dogs together; go on hiking adventures and you always have someone to look after your property while you're out of town.

We teach the art of making concrete stepping stones.
Our experimental garden shows how to take wasteland and turn it into a low-water garden with beautiful native wildflowers.
In the spring we offer outdoor hikes to local parks to teach plant identification.
Our community offers a variety social activities:
Various card clubs meet in the cabana
Art, craft and jewelry-making classes
Potluck parties in the summer
Holiday parties
Movie nights
